The idea for this special event arose during a visit by Hieke Barels, a student at the Classical Academy in Groningen (see picture). She told us that she would very much like to exhibit her work with us, after which the exhibition committee decided to put their focus on young talent. Apart from Hieke, ARTOS invites students of among others Minerva Academy, the Classical Academy and the Photography Academy to exhibit during the period mentioned.
We have chosen not to narrow down the exhibition to a specific theme. The main goal is for the participants to display their individuality. In the pitch that they are asked to send in, with their CV enclosed, they will briefly comment on this.
